This is what we learned from STiMG...

ABSTRACT:
Our experiment STiMG(spinning tops in microgravity) was based on how tops spin or rotate in 1g versus microgravity, 0g. We wanted to see how tops spin in microgravity(0g) and how they would react to being in a 0g environment. We thought there would be differences in how tops would rotate in gravity (1g) versus how they rotate in microgravity(0g). To conduct this experiment, we collected different kinds of tops. Some tops were made by fellow 6th grade scientists, some by our teacher and parents. We tested the tops in 1g to see how they would spin here on Earth. Then with NASA's help using the KC-135 we collected the data from 0g to compare to our 1g data, so we could see what happened differently. In our report, you will see different things. Our report will be about our questions, hypotheses, what we did in our experiment, observations we made, data we collected, and our conclusion. We will also include what we learned from this extraordinary experiment conducted with NASA's KC-135!
