How can RUP-R help you
When you get an essay question the on a test you want to make sure you are giving the reader what they have asked for. One way to do this is use RUP-R to help you.

RUPR
R - Read the whole prompt
U - Underline and understand the FAT-P
Format, Audience, Topic and Purpose
P - Plan your writing
R- Re-read your writing to:
Make sure it makes sense
Stays on topic
Meets the purpose
Has all the parts of a good paragraph
