Kristin Pengra

Ms. Pengra in the chamber at NASA!

Welcome! My name is Kristin Pengra and I will be your child's fifth grade teacher for the 2008-2009 school year. I'm very excited to be back at Crossroads, and work with such an amazing group of students, staff, and parents! I came to Crossroads as a guest teacher for Ms. Becquer in May of 2006. I then made the cross country journey to Phoenix, Arizona to teach a 5/6 multi-age classroom in the Pendergast School District, and now I am back at Crossroads! I received my bachelors degree from Minnesota State University in Mankato. My degree is in Elementary Education. I completed my student teaching at Four Seasons A+ Elementary, another year-round school in St. Paul. I student taught in a fifth grade classroom with an amazing teacher! I started my Masters program at the University of St. Thomas. I will be receiving my Masters in Reading Instruction. Along with my Masters, I am working on my Reading License. I will graduate in May of 2010. I'm really excited to learn more about reading, and interesting ways to teach it!

12:10-1:10 Reader's Workshop

1:10-2:10 Writer's Workshop

2:10-3:10 Math

3:10-3:25 Recess

3:25-3:40 Fill out planners/clean-up classroom

3:40 Dismissal

*We will go to the Library on Tuesday mornings.
