11/19/2007 1:22 PMEDL means entry, descent and landing or should we say egg drop and landing. We built landers for our rovers (eggs). The lander we made was shaped like a triangle prism. We then attached a parachute to the lander so we could slow it down. Lastly we taped balloons to simulate airbags. Ms. Becquer and Mr. Hesse then dropped then from the roof. Most of the rovers (eggs) made it but some broke, accidently were stepped on, or needed surgery. Some of us were shedding tears and others were rejoicing. We found out that 20 seconds of terror is to much.
