|  |  |  | How do things spin? The things we collected spin here on Earth when they have a surface like a table or a floor to be spun on. If we tried to spin them in the air they would spin but crash to the ground since Earth has gravity. If you spun a football here on Earth it would go for a little while then stop. When there is little gravity or microgravity the football will keep spinning until something stops it and it doesn't even need a surface to spin on at all it just spins freely in the air, floating, actually free falling! We know...! we had to see it to believe it too!
