Isis Roper received the Milken Family Foundation National Educator Award

were told there was a teacher in their midst that was to be recognized
by the Milken Family Foundation National Educator Award. After a
dynamic lead in, Isis Roper was announced as the recipient.
the honor of receiving the National Educator Award, Ms Roper will
receive a check for $25,000 and a three-day trip to Los Angeles to
attend the National Education Conference sponsored by the Milken Family
Foundation.
The Milken Family Foundation National Educator Awards program provides
public recognition and financial rewards to
schoolteachers, principals and other education professionals who are
furthering excellence in education. By honoring outstanding educators,
the program strives to attract, develop, motivate and retain talented
people to the challenge and adventure of teaching.
We are very proud of all our teaching staff and thrilled to share this moment with Ms Roper. She is an outstanding example of what makes Crossroads the special place for students that it is. Thank you for all your hard work, Ms Roper!
